The Caldwell Chamber has fully embraced the Strategic Planning Process and is driven by sound objectives and goals.  Our Executive Board meets monthly to discuss our overall scope of work.  Our Board of Directors has a clear-cut handle on Governance with a focus on Strategy, Policy, and Oversight. The Board has Fiduciary responsibility with a Duty of Care, a Duty of Loyalty, and a Duty of Obedience.

Our President & CEO is responsible for the organization including, staffing, physical office operations, the protection of assets, and other responsibilities associated with a corporate CEO.

Advocacy In Action

 

This year brings the opportunity to work more closely with our elected officials.  We are honored to have Destin Hall, Speaker of the House for the NC Legislature, in office and representing our community.  In January, we hosted over 50 Caldwell County businesses and leaders for the swearing-in ceremony for Speaker Hall in Raleigh.  We look forward to working with him as an important leader for the State of NC.

Carolina HealthWorks Legislation Passed

 

In 2025, we celebrated a major win for small businesses with the successful passage of Carolina HealthWorks legislation. This initiative creates new opportunities for small employers to offer affordable health insurance to their employees, helping businesses attract and retain talent while supporting a healthier local workforce.

2025 marked the relaunch of Leadership Caldwell, alongside our first-ever Leadership Conference. Together, these initiatives are building a stronger pipeline of informed, engaged leaders who are committed to the long-term success of our community and local economy.

We introduced an extension of our LEADS Group!

Ask the Experts, a new program connecting business owners with local experts for topic-driven conversations and real-world guidance. These sessions have been very well received and continue to provide valuable resources, connections, and expertise to our members and the broader community.
