The Caldwell Chamber Celebrates its 2025 Annual Meeting - The Business Event of the Year

Lenoir, NC – The Caldwell Chamber proudly hosted its highly anticipated 2025 Annual Meeting, an event hailed as the Business Event of the Year, on February 27, 2025. Held at J.E. Broyhill Civic Center, this exciting evening brought together community leaders, local businesses, and residents for an inspiring celebration of excellence within the Caldwell community.

Attendees were treated to a night of meaningful networking, delicious hors d’ oeuvres, and impactful conversations. The evening recognized outstanding achievements across the business and nonprofit sectors with several prestigious awards presented to local visionaries and changemakers.

The 2025 Annual Meeting saw the announcement of the coveted L.A. Dysart Award winners, honoring those whose dedication and leadership have made significant contributions to the community. The winners of the L.A. Dysart Award was Dr. Helen Hall and Jerry Church.

Additionally, the Chamber proudly recognized the following:

  • Small Business of the Year: Brown Mountain Beach Resort, Lake
    Hickory Pub & Marina, and Castle Bridge Marina
  • Non-Profit of the Year: Bethel Colony of Mercy
  • Community Impact Award: The Wig Bank
  • Outstanding Professional Woman of the Year: April Austin 
  • TorchBearer Awards: Scott Hatton, J.D. Abee, Bill Fields, Leighanna Taylor, Jason Lingle, and Richard Hedrick

A special Visionary Award, selected by the Dysart Committee, was presented to Sylvia Green (Posthumously), with the award graciously accepted by her daughter, Tammy Green.

These individuals and organizations continue to shape and improve the community through their extraordinary efforts.
